1. What is the objective of The Button Page
The goal is to finance the remaining production of a quality video game. The "AMaze" project (to be renamed) is the first 3D video game project by Desgraff that will be distributed at NO COST (that's right, completely FREE)! This game is the first of many larger game ventures that are currently in the works. You can become part of history by helping to finance this game!
2. What is the "AMaze" video game project?
Targeted for the wide audience of casual gamers, this game will be an adventure-RPG in the setting of an underground world. In order to escape, the player will have to go through a series of awe inspiring levels filled with savage creatures, dangerous trials and secrets at every turn. The game is an introduction to a fascinating universe that will be further revealed in a much larger sequel. Visit the AMaze project page regularly in order to read about details of this game as they appear online over the next months.
3. Will The Button Page also be displayed through our free upcoming video game?
Here's where it gets real interesting. The Button Page will also appear automatically every time our upcoming video game opens! Since the game will be FREE, it will potentially be downloaded and copied millions of times therefore attracting huge additional traffic on The Button Page. This in turn will give your ad on The Button Page a lot of exposure.
4. What is the size of a button?
The size of a single button is 32 x 32 pixels. This allows a more ledgible viewing. It is also the minimum size for an image within a 3D commercial video game. This standard image size fits within the memory blocks of your 3D video card (to play PC games)
5. What is the price of a button?
The price for a single button is CAN $500 . A low price for publicity that can potentially be viewed by an incredible amount of people over many years. Canadian clients must add 6% GST tax on the final amount. Canadian clients in the province of Quebec must add 6% GST and then 7.5% QST tax on the final amount. Section 10 explains the payment methods.
6. How many buttons can I buy?
As many as you want, depending on the availability. For the moment however, there is no limit (rows of new buttons can be added at any time). You can purchase many neighboring buttons to create a bigger image and increase traffic to your publicity.
7. Can I choose where to publish my button(s)?
Absolutely. Every button has an ID number. Simply select the desired button(s) before filling the purchase order form (the available buttons all have a checkbox in them).
8. Can my button(s) have a link to my website?
Yes. You can include your URL in the Website address linked to button(s) field of the purchase order form. You can also simply publish a button without a link.
9. Can Desgraff design my button(s)?
Yes. If you cannot do it yourself, Desgraff has a graphic department and can design your button(s) at no cost! You will be able to provide the necessary information in the return mail you will receive from The Button Page after you submit your purchase order. Buttons are designed only after funds are fully received and cleared. Buttons are designed according to the client's specifications.
10. How can I buy a button?
Simply go on The Button Page and click on the button(s) you wish to reserve (the available buttons all have a checkbox in them). Then go to the form at the bottom of the same page, make sure you fill all the required fields and click the "Submit order" button. An email will be sent automatically to Desgraff with the information you have entered on the form. If your purchase order is accepted, you will receive an email that you can print. This email will contain all the necessary information regarding billing information, your image and payment methods. Desgraff will reserve your button(s) for a maximum of 40 days before your payment arrives (the letters "RSVD" will appear on the reserved button(s) of The Button Page). Once funds are fully received and cleared, Desgraff will publish your button(s) on The Button Page. If funds are not received before the button reservation expiration date, the order will be cancelled and the button(s) will become publically available again. You will have to submit another purchase order to reserve a button again.

E. The Button Page will be online for at least 5 years (starting from the launching date), so at least until July 1st 2011. The goal is to keep it even longer.

Desgraff thanks you in advance for your understanding.
O. There might be extremely rare downtime for site maintenance.
12. Who is the team behind this video game project?
The original idea behind this game came from David Deschenes. Back in 1999, he started to code a 3D engine (a software to build video games) and continued until 2003 with the beginnings of the project of a simple and fun game code-named "AMaze". In 2005, the new art director of Desgraff, along with David, redefined the entire technology and storyboard behind the AMaze project. You can read about it in this French newspaper.
As of July 2006, there was an average group of 25 student apprentices and 20 contractual helping our permanent staff on this project. Your button purchases will help us hire more full time staff from our valuable contractual and student apprentice employee bank. Currently we require development funds to hire a 3D model animator, a programmer and pay for other staff expenses such as the sound team. All members of the staff who contributed to the development of this game will be featured in the credit section of the final release. To see the progress of this video game, you can visit the official Web site here.
